My first pair of professional outdoor shoes – the Salomon Speedcross 4 CS. I have been an avid outdoorsman since I was a little boy. Living in a country with such diverse nature is truly a blessing. Shoutout to Norway by the way!
It’s never been hard for me to get out of the sofa and go for a walk in the forest or wherever else it might be. Well, I’m actually lying. I also have days where it’s hard as hell to get my butt out of the sofa and go do something constructive.
It has never been easier to put on my new shoes and go out there. Previously I used the typical cheap pair of sneakers to go for walks and trekking in the outdoors. Guess what? Yep. Wet shoes, socks and feet every time it rained a little. I had enough and went online to find the right pair. After a couple weeks actually I found the right pair. It had all the features I liked, from cool design to advanced technical specifications.
Investing in decent gear REALLY gives you a better experience. You get what you pay for.
The Speedcross 4 CS (ClimaShield) is still going strong. It is a very popular shoe with customers buying a new pair after wearing it out. The main reasons for its popularity is primarily fit and grip. When you look at the base sole you can easily see that it will provide superior grip no matter how fast you run. This applies regardless of whether you run on even terrain, on soft and wet surfaces or on gravel roads.
Sexy! Elegant and sporty design that I can’t take my eyes off. Is it wrong to smile everytime I see them?

This shoe is amazing!
This version is a CS (ClimaShield) which means you don’t have the full water protection as GTX (Gore-TeX), but water repellant shield is more than enough. As long as you don’t step into big water puddles you will be just fine. I have actually never gotten my feet wet when using them. They are snug and lightweight. It almost feels like you’re barefoot.
I’ve ran and walked on slippery rocks, but never lost my grip on the surface. They are like glued to the ground. The reinforced front really helps out if you were to run into rocks and other hard objects. The quick-lacing system is also a nice feature where you can tuck the lace into a small pocket to prevent if from getting caught up on branches etc.
Overall a very good shoe! Would buy again!
